Jill Huntington is a Portland, Oregon-based quilter whose work has been shown throughout the
U.S. Her quilts have earned recognition, most notably, the distinguished Pat Yamin Judge’s
Choice Award for Polar Bear Portrait at Pacific International Quilt Festival (Santa Clara, CA -
2023), the Oregon Award and People’s Choice Award for Oregon, My Oregon at the Oregon
State Fair (Salem, OR - 2024), and most recently, the National Association of Certified Quilt
Judges Award of Merit for The Freddy Bunch at the Oregon State Fair (Salem, OR - 2025).
She enjoys presenting trunk shows, teaching workshops both in-person and virtually, and
designing new quilt patterns, in addition to being a professional pianist, wife, and mom of four.
